THE FOUNDER PROBLEM

You have an idea. But what should you do next?

Building a startup becomes confusing long before it becomes exciting. There are too many decisions, too much advice and no obvious next step.

01I have an idea. What should I do next?

02How do I know people really need this?

03Is the market large enough?

04What should my MVP contain?

05I’m not technical. How do I build it?

06What should I charge?

07How do I get my first customers?

08How do I pitch this to investors?

You don’t have to figure out your startup alone.

AI PRODUCT BUILDING · SHORT PRACTICAL MODULE

Learn to prompt, build and improve your product with AI.

Learn practical prompt engineering, translate plain-language requirements into smaller features and use modern AI development tools such as Codex to help build, test and improve an MVP.

No coding experience required. Some products may still require specialist technical support because of complexity, security, infrastructure or domain requirements.

BUILD THE BUSINESS

Before you build, understand how the business could work.

Work through who pays, pricing, competitor pricing, fixed and variable costs, margins, break-even, basic unit economics and revenue assumptions.

The goal is not perfect forecasting. It is to check whether the basic business logic makes sense before committing heavily.

A THOUGHTFULBUILD PRODUCT · INCLUDED

DecideBuild helps organise validation and startup decisions.

DecideBuild is a product developed by ThoughtfulBuild. Use it to organise assumptions, prepare customer questions, capture research and evidence, and design validation experiments.

It helps you decide whether to build, test more, pivot or pause. Codex and other development tools are used separately when it is time to build the MVP.

DecideBuild access is included during the Founder Floor program.

YOUR FIRST IDEA CAN CHANGE

We are interested in the founder, not just the first idea.

If evidence shows the original idea is weak, you can refine it, pivot, test another customer or explore another opportunity. A willingness to learn and adapt matters more than arriving with a polished pitch.

Learning early can save months of unnecessary building and spending.
